Portable Yarn Cake Spinner / Holder

This is handy for keeping your yarn cake from rolling away. You can use the base holder when you're working at a table or desk, or you can set up a lanyard leash and use it from your wrist. It's on Printables if you want to make your own.

I redesigned it into a v2 after my wife found the original a bit tipsy on uneven surfaces like our bed. The v2 is standalone and doesn't need a hanger base, is more stable, and has a cavity in the bottom you can fill with scrap hardware and epoxy if you want to add weight.
